EasyBatchPhoto App Reviews

16 Customer Reviews:

This picture resizer has a nice interface but the file size is bigger than before and the "Limit file size" value will not be recognized. So this program is absolute worthless for me. I hope for an update.

This tool preserves the file modification date. And it is really reliable. I just batched several thousand photos. It really went well and the interface is intuitive. I cannot recommend it more. Thanks!

The app has good potential. I am however struggling to make my watermark surroundings translusive. I cannot have my watermark look like it is not on a white sheet of paper....

I use Pixelmator primary for creating my images and really like it, but one thing that I dont like about Pixelmator is that it doesnt use Bicubic for scaling, so most of the time when scaling the images become a little blurry. I tried a lot of scaling apps and wasnt satisfied, until I found EasyBatchPhoto. The EasyBatchPhoto scaling is very good and is as good as Photoshop which has option Bicubic scaling. The batch feature also works great.

I bought this program for primarily two reasons, image watermarking and resizing my photos, both of these capabilities need significant improvement. Image watermarking is not reliable. I had resized 32 images to 8x10 for printing and applied the same image watermark (a png graphic) to all of the photos. Placement was inconsistent and so was the size of the watermark. I tried several alternatives from resizing my watermark to adjusting the DPI for all of my images and it just did not not work. Since I was not able to find a workaround with the settings this program has cost me $15 and a lot of time for what was supposed to save me time. Resizing needs better clarification and the program in general could benefit by providing customers with tutorials. Again, I needed this program to resize very large files into 8x10 files for photo printing but the lack of settings in inches did not allow for a convenient way to quickly do this. In the end I had to open each individual image in another program to resize it. I suspect that there might be a way that this software can do it but the lack of tutorials or help information causes me to lose out on $15 and time spent messing with it to figure it out that it wasnt worth the time taken to figure it out. This is another program that has jumped on the band wagon of making a quick buck by using the App Store and not providing customer support in the very basic element of at least giving the customer help and tutorial documentation. An overarching lesson to be learned. Spend a little more for the more established main stream software vendors who can provide a product that will do what it says it will do. This program has some potential but it was not well thought out and lacks what a photographer needs to be able to quickly watermark and resize photographs. I have not tried out all of the other features so I cant comment on those. Therefore, I give this vendor the benefit of the doubt by rating them with three stars.

I bought this app to resize tons of high res 2400dpi tiff photos, it did not work with that res. Other than that it is a great app. The support was very kind and fast.

I use EasyBatch just about everytime i’m done editing large quantities of photos. It’s simplistic and user friendly interface makes it ideal for my workflow. It processes my PSD and TIFF files into JPEG’s in under a few minutes. There are other file options available as well, JPEG is just the most common. The processing speed depends on your computers hardware, so it can take anywhere from 1 min for 10 photos to 1hr for 500+ images. I don’t like to save a file as a JPEG one at a time so this is a must have. You can resize, watermark, downsample, and even change the DPI output if you need to send out online friendly versions fast to a client or publication. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I have to convert high-res photos and clipart to a web-based format. With this app, you can batch convert to a preset you define. Effortless! There may be other alternatives, but Yello Mug’s app do what they say they do. If you haven’t tried SnapNDrag Pro or YemuZip, you won’t go wrong with these lifesaver tools. Whoever Yellow Mug is (Jay?), you can tell he enjoys making apps useful and easy to use.

Tried others - deleted them after trying this one. Simple interface and extremely easy to work with - plus reasonably priced. It’s also very fast. The only two things that would make it better is a preview before processing and to take advantage of all the CPU cores.

Nice software but having a few issues

Crashes on 10.9.5 for some reason randomly. Happy to help troubleshoot if needed.

Does not work!

This software coughs up an error about file permissions when used on Catalina. Do not purchase until the developer updates it to work with higher version operating system.

Great Product, always updated! Love the auto-rotate

This product has been tried and true. I really appreciate the developer staying on top of the product and how well it works. Thanks!

What happened to Destination?

I love the mass resizing but what happened to my destination option? I now have to choose the same folder everytime I drag an image in to be resized!

No Support

There is no support for the program and no way to figure out how to change the exif data. I just wasted $20 No instructions for Exif data changes

Much love

Does what it says it will do, is simple/easy to use, and makes quick-work of what would otherwise be hours of tedious labor updating photo-galleries for clients, so, I have much love for it!
